Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using Vespera Budget, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms form a legal agreement between you and W CHEN & Z ZHANG trading as See Zone Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Vespera Budget is a personal budgeting tool. We provide software to help you track and plan your finances. We do not provide financial advice. Nothing in the app constitutes financial, tax, or legal advice.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be 18 years or older to use Vespera Budget. One person may not create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.

4. Beta service

Vespera Budget is currently in public beta on Android and closed beta testing on iOS. During the beta period, the service is provided “as is”: features, pricing, and plans described here may change, and you may encounter bugs or data issues. We recommend keeping your own record of important budget information during this period. We will give notice before any change that reduces your ability to export or access your data.

5. Subscription and billing

Vespera Budget offers a 30-day free trial. After the trial period, a subscription fee applies. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through the App Store (Apple), Google Play (Google), or our web payment provider. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until that date.

6. Refunds

Subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play are subject to Apple’s or Google’s refund policies respectively; we have no ability to process those refunds directly. For subscriptions purchased through our web payment provider, we will consider refund requests made within 14 days of a charge where a billing error has occurred. We do not offer partial-month refunds on cancellation. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us at support@vesperabudget.com.

7. Your data

You own your data. We do not claim any rights over the financial information you enter into Vespera Budget. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we store and protect your information.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to access other users’ data.
• Reverse engineer or copy any part of the service.
• Use automated scripts to access the service without our written permission.

9. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, use the service in a manner that may harm Vespera Budget or other users, or as required by law. Where practicable we will give you notice before suspension or termination. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We are not liable for losses caused by service interruptions.

11. Third-party services

Certain features of Vespera Budget may rely on third-party services, including payment processors, identity providers, and data providers. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of third-party services, and their use is subject to their own terms and policies.

12. Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights in Vespera Budget, including the software, branding, logos, and content, are and remain the property of W CHEN & Z ZHANG trading as See Zone Studio. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in that intellectual property other than the right to use the service as described here.

13. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty, or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to the above, to the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of Vespera Budget is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

14. Changes to these terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the service after updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not accept the revised Terms, you must stop using the service.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Victoria, Australia.
